The flat is situated in Les Ayguades, a private development which is entered via electric gates to access the apartment and designated parking space. The development is situated between the pretty ancient Roman fishing village of Gruissan and Narbonne Plage in the Languedoc-Roussillon, on the South Coast of France and only one hour from Spain .

It is situated on the first floor and has a shower room, a separate toilet and a bedroom with double bed. There is a second double bed on the mezzanine floor. The main room has a corner kitchen with seating for four people and a sitting area with television and DVD. Sliding patio doors provides access to the south facing patio with views of the gardens and communal swimming pool, which is open from June to September and is free to our guests. The flat has everything required for a maximum of four people to enjoy a self catering holiday.

There is a launderette, restaurants, bar and shops within a short walk and a wider selection of bars and restaurants in Narbonne Plage or Gruissan, both only 5-minutes by car.

With 300 days of sunshine a year this coast line comes alive for your best holiday ever. The beach which is very safe for children is only a five minute walk from the flat. Fine sand covers over 200km of beaches. The European Blue Flag foundation has officially declared this region to be the best protected coast in France , due to its water quality and its respect for the natural preserved environment in which flora and fauna abound.

This area provides a perfect holiday for couples but also has excellent entertainment for children. Apart from the massive Mediterranean sandy beach there is bycycle hire, a pirate park, go-carts, fishing, water park, horseriding, paint balling, sail boarding (with tuition if needed), crazy golf etc.

The old village of Gruissan lies between salt water lagoons, a favourite place for flamingos and the Massif de la Clape mountain range. Only 15km from Narbonne it represents a truly Mediterranean mix of fishermen and wine growers. Near to the old port is an extensive but tasteful modern marina development, Port Gruissan. This bustling harbour is full of all types of leisure boats where fishing trips to catch tuna or deep sea fishing for shark and swordfish are offered, or you can just take a gentle boat trip along the coast.
